World Trade
Billy Sherwood - Vocals, Bass; Jay Schellen - Drums; Bruce Gowdy - Guitars; Guy Allison - Keyboards
Chris Squire - Bass and Backing Vocals on "The Evolution Song" and "Say Goodbye"
Composed of some of L.A.'s most recognized studio and songwriting talents, World Trade has produced "Euphoria", a mature sounding record with great songwriting, familiar sounding vocals and solid production values. Lead vocalist and chief songwriter, Billy Sherwood, has been a fixture on the L.A. studio and recording scene since the mid-80's. Billy's talents range from producing a Grammy-nominated album for Paul Rodgers to writing material for Yes. Sherwood's connection with Yes dates back to a time period when it appeared that he would take over the lead vocalist slot in Yes. But Jon Anderson decided not to leave the band and Billy did not end up with the gig. Billy Sherwood retained close ties with Yes and he eventually worked with them on their last two records as well as performing as a part of their touring band on the "Talk" tour. Billy has also been a member of the "Chris Squire Experiment" and Chris returns the favor by appearing on several cuts on "Euphoria".
World Trade sounds like a world class band in every sense and has the ability to appeal to the listeners of Yes as well as those of other progressive rock bands.
